Event Information
Witness seven artists from migrant and refugee backgrounds weave music, dance, spoken word and film to address themes of home, displacement and migration.Developed during a three week residency, living and working as a team, the Green Room Collective's performance is a celebration of diversity and testament to the power of collaboration.The performers include: Mahshid Alavi (dance & movement) Héctor Manchego (spoken word, film & dramaturgy) Hossein Mirzagholi (bass, vocals & composition)Giuliano Modarelli (guitar & composition) Deeptarka Mukhopadhyay (tabla, dholak & dhol & composition) Preetha Narayanan (violin & composition) Angela Hui Wai Nok (percussion & composition)
