Live Reggae: Captain Accident & The Disasters / Concrete Rose / Support Tbc in Hull

Live Reggae: Captain Accident & The Disasters / Concrete Rose / Support Tbc
The New Adelphi, Hull
Saturday 28th September 2019, £5.00

Captain Accident & The DisastersCardiff multi-instrumentalist Captain Accident brings his lush self-produced soulful Reggae recordings to life with the help of his backing band, The Disasters. We first met these guys about 4 or 5 years ago and have been trying to book them ever since! It would have been sooner but it was difficult to find a date that worked, because their diaries have been packed out - touring with Jamaican legends Toots & The Maytals (twice), support slots with Aswad, Chaka Demus & Pliers, and Mad Professor (among many others) and appearances at just about every festival on the UK circuit. This will definitely have been worth the wait!---Concrete RoseIncluding members of Unknown Era and Ferocious Dog, you could call them something of a supergroup - one that has made big waves in the short time they have been together. Already attracting bookings for venues and festivals outside their hometown of Nottingham and with a BBC Introducing live session in the can, it's only a matter of time before Concrete Rose become a regular fixture on the UK Reggae festival scene, with their particularly upbeat yet mellow take on the genre.---With No Enemies resident DJ Dan Van (Rebel Music), plus support act TBC.
